History of the Agency

The Sylcox family has dedicated itself to helping other families care for their older family members. Edward Sylcox Sr. and his mother, Rachel, founded the Sylcox Nursing Home in 1939.

In 1996, Edward T. Sylcox Jr. and his wife, Jeannine, founded Mid-Hudson Managed Home Care, Inc. MHMHC is a full service licensed home care agency that provides nursing, home health aides, personal care, physical therapy, speech language pathology, occupational therapy, audiology, medical social work and nutrition.

MHMHC specializes in Live-in personalized care options, Alzheimer's/Dementia care, and provides a cost-effective alternative to residential placement.
